Meredith S. â??Mert�? Andrews

Age 88 of Millerton, PA, passed away Friday, May 20, 2005 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center, Elmira.Meredith was the son of the late Theron and Dora (Smith) Andrews. He is survived by his wife of 63 years; Muriel (Fuller) Andrews, sons; Theron W. (Lynne) Andrews of Elmira, NY and Larry R. (Sharlene) Andrews of Millerton, PA, grandchildren; Timothy M. & Jason E. of Atlanta, GA and Scott (Erin) of Coudersport, PA, sister; Jeannine (Doug) Kingsley of Endicott, NY, sister in-law; Joan Andrews, also several loving nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by Neva (Floyd) Adams, Ellene (George) Bement, Dora Marie (Herb) Adams, Garry Andrews, and James ?Bill? (Gen) Andrews. Meredith worked for E.L. Scheneck Electric, before becoming owner/operator of Andrews Electrical Contracting business. He was a Small Fry baseball coach in Millerton, PA for many years. His favorite pass-time was watching the Atlanta Braves Baseball team; he also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and bowling.Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, NY on Monday, May 23, 2005 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, May 24, 2005 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM, with Funeral there at 1:00 PM.The Reverend Douglas Hodge will officiate.A graveside service will followin the Alder Run Cemetery, Millerton, PA.
