Michael Thomas Humphries

Age 42, of Sherman Ave. Elmira, NY passed away very unexpectedly on Monday, February 28, 2005 at home. He was born November 27, 1962 in Elmira, NY. His grandmother, Dorotha Darrin, predeceased Michael. He is survived by his loving mother, Joyce (Arthur) Finnerty Sr. of Gillett, PA; father, Leonard Shock of Horseheads, NY; loving daughter, Jessica Walker Herrmann of Elmira, NY; my special buddy, Darrell; brothers, Douglas E. Humphries of San Angelo, TX; William D. Humphries of Elmira Heights, NY; Donald A. Humphries of Elmira, NY; Frank Drake of Elmira, NY; step-brothers, Arthur (Lori) Finnerty, Jr. of Lowman, NY; Anthony Shock of Indiana; step-sisters, Kelly (Don) Harding of Van Etten, NY; Vivian (James) Johnson of Bentley Creek, PA; Theresa (Thomas) Johnson of Levittown, PA; aunt, Carol Marie (Frank) Wood of Hammondsport, NY; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends. Michael was a proud member of AA and constantly helped others and always made new friends. He had a great love for cars and enjoyed working on them as well. Michael was a very enthusiastic NASCAR fan and had a great respect and love for the # 6, Mark Martin. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY on Saturday, March 5, 2005 from 12 to 2 PM.
