Michael J. Quinn

PINE CITY – Michael J. Quinn “Quinny” Pine City, NY, age 75, on Sunday, August, 28, 2022, after a brief illness at Arnot Ogden Medical Center.

Born May 11, 1947, Michael was the youngest of six sons born to the late Leo and Helen (Ciprich) Quinn.

He is survived by his loving wife, Donna M. Quinn of Pine City and four children, Brian P. (Gail) Quinn; Kelley E. Quinn; Allison M. Quinn; and John M. Quinn. He was a loving grandfather to his granddaughters, Kacey Quinn and Katey Quinn. He is also survived by his beloved brothers, Joseph of Miami; William (Carol) of St. Augustine; and Laurence (Barbara) of Millerton.

He was predeceased by his brothers, Thomas (Karen) Quinn and John.

Michael was a 1965 graduate of Southside High School and proudly served in the United States Army from 1965 to 1968. He worked at Purolator Products as a cost accountant for more than 30 years.

Michael, a fan of the New York Giants and the Syracuse Orangemen football and basketball teams, will be remembered for always being there for his family whenever they needed him.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 am on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at St. Mary's Church, 224 Franklin St, Elmira, NY 14904.  Rite of Committal will follow in St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery in Elmira.
