Michael P. Teeter

Was born December 4, 1964 in Elmira, NY the son of the late Merlin L. and Bette Jean (Woodruff) Teeter passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center after fighting a courageous battle. He is survived by his loving, devoted wife and best friend, Mary A. Teeter; twin sons, Brandon (Jennifer) Teeter and Beau (Becky) Teeter; grandson, Marshall Lee Teeter, Papa's "best buddy"; siblings, Richard (Carol) MacMillan, Debora Duclaw, Mark (Mary Jane) Teeter and Shirley (Bill) Dumont; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends. He is also survived by his special pets, Jenkins, Brittany and Skeeter. Michael enjoyed his time spent every morning at Gill's Auto drinking coffee, eating donuts and just hanging out with "the guys". He retired from the NYS DOT after several years of dedicated service. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting for deer. Michael was an auto enthusiast who loved working on cars and riding his motorcycle. He never turned down a charity event and loved riding his Harley with his friends in many of them. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY on Friday, May 4, 2012 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Funeral services celebrating Michael's life will be held there on Saturday May 5 at 11:00 AM. The Reverend Larry Burk will officiate. Interment will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Elmira. Memorial donations may be directed to a charity of one's own choice.
