Michael A. Zepp

Was born December 25, 1956 in Elmira, NY the son of Dennis A. and Angela M. Zepp passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving and devoted family on Saturday, July 21, 2012 after a hard fought and courageous battle with brain cancer. His beloved mother, Angela M. (Cerio) Zepp preceded him in death September 25, 2011. This August would have marked his 23rd wedding anniversary with his loving wife, Martha (Ellers) who survives him. Other survivors include: children, Erica Zepp, Jared Zepp, Brandon Zepp, Elliott (Haley) Thompson and Carrie Thompson; much loved grandchildren, Tala, Jessica and Jude; adored family: father, Dennis; sisters, Michelle Troccia and Lisa (Carl) Camacho; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends that were always there for him. His canine companion, "Maggie" also survives him. Michael worked for Anchor Glass as a supervisor for 34 years until 2009 when he was forced to step down due to his illness. He had a passion for golf and a love for the game. He especially enjoyed hitting the links with his best buddies and uncles Joe and Rich. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. Funeral services honoring his life will follow the visitation at 4 PM with Reverend Richard Farrellcelebrating his life and honoring his memory.
