Mildred E. Comfort

Age 93, formerly of 510 Stacia Drive passed away peacefully Sunday, October 19, 2003 at Bethany Manor in Horseheads, NY. She was born August 16, 1910 the daughter of the late George and Mary (McBennett) Nichols. Her husband Jesse E. Comfort preceded Mildred in death. Survivors include: daughter, Joyce (Harold) Allington of Millport, NY; sons, Donald Tryon of Scranton, PA; Joseph (Carol) Comfort of Mira Loma, CA; William Comfort of Elmira, NY; brothers, George (Joyce) Nichols of Elmira, NY; Robert (Cindy) Nichols of Portage, IN; along with many beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY on Wednesday, October 22, 2003 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM (Noon). Funeral Services will be held there at the conclusion of calling hours. (12 Noon) Deacon Bob Stowell will officiate. Interment will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Elmira, NY where Mildred will be laid to rest next to her loving husband, Jesse. The family will provide flowers.
