Mildred Irene Farnsworth

Age 93 Of Elmira, NY passed away Friday September 19, 2003 at the Chemung County Nursing Facility.Mildred is survived by her daughter and son-in-law; Carol and Robert Olson of Sun City, FL,sons and daughters-in-law; Kenneth Jr. and Marilyn Farnsworth, Richard and Janice Farnsworth, all of Elmira, NY, 6 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, brother; Fred Lefler of Elmira, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Farnsworth Sr. in 1986. Mildred was a long term Methodist having been a member of Christ?s United Methodist Church of Elmira and a former member of the First Methodist Church. She retired from the Bendix (Eclipse) Corp and had worked for Iszards Department Store for several years. In her spare time Mildred enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Family and Friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, NY on Sunday, September 21, 2003 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM with Funeral and Committal Service there Sunday at 4:00 PM. The Reverend Fred Kelsey will officiate. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Those wishing may make memorials to the Christ United Methodist Church, 330 W.
