Moonyeen L. Johnson Age 72 Of Southport NY, passed away June 18, 2009 at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA, Born on September 10, 1936 to John Butters and Leona Allington Butters, in the town of Veteran, NY. Moonyeen was predeceased by her parents, husband Cecil and her son Jack, three brothers and two sisters. She is survived by children, Cecil (Flo) Johnson II, Leona Johnson, Carol Johnson (Harold White), Steven Johnson and Joseph Johnson, two sisters, Roselee Reep and Dawn Kelley, one brother Danny (Penny) Butters, one very special sister in-law, Sandy Johnson. Moonyeen has 10 grandchildren, Jonathan, Carrie, Moonyeen, Cinnamon, Asa, Cassie, Michael, Jack, Blaine, and Paige also 4 great grandchildren, Thaddeus, Mathew, Raqaya, and Rathwon. Moonyeen was a homemaker, who loved her children and always put them first. Her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her grandchildren. She was loved very much, and will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing or loving her. The family will receive friends at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY on Wednesday June 24, 2009 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with Funeral Service there Wednesday at 1:00 PM, followed by graveside prayers at Woodlawn National Cemetery"Leave a loving legacy."
