Nadine G. Brown

Age 77, of Broad Street Horseheads, NY passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 2, 2004 at her home. She was born May 26, 1927 in Elmira, NY the daughter of the late George and Hazel (McMillen) Gaylor. Nadine was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leon Brown; & much loved daughter, Vaughn Palmieri; adored grandson, Robert Howard. She is survived by her loving children and their spouses, Richard E. and Camille Brown of Horseheads, NY; Sharon and Robert Joralemon also of Horseheads, NY; Ronald and Joan Brown of Kentwood, MI; Donna and Douglas Coles of Horseheads, NY; grandchildren, Samantha and Thomas Brown, Tim and Scott Coles, Schelle Slater, Brian Howard, Frederick Howard, Christopher Brown and Kimberly Scott; along with several great grandchildren, numerous friends and special feline companion ?Mindy?. Nadine was a member of the Pine Valley United Methodist Church, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Bentley Trumble Post in Horseheads, NY and was a member of the Order of the Easter Star Post # 423 Horseheads, NY. For 17 years, Nadine was employed by Rohan?s Deli near Hanover Square in Horseheads. At her request there will be no prior calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service celebrating Nadine?s life on Monday, November 8, 2004 in the Pine Valley United Methodist Church 519 Pine Valley Road {Route 14 Pine Valley}. The Reverend Deborah Roe will officiate. Interment will take place and at the convenience of her family in the Maple Grove Cemetery Horseheads, NY.
