Nancy Kistler

Of Elmira, NY died at home on January 2, 2008. She was born on May 19, 1931 in Elmira, NY. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, K. William Kistler, son, Stephen Paul Kistler of Elizabethtown, PA, daughter, Kristina Lyn Kistler of Troy, PA and brother, Burton Biff Freeman of Horseheads, NY.Nancy and Bill would have celebrated 56 years of marriage on January 19, 2008. She was a life long member of the Lutheran Church and specifically a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Elmira since 1951. She worked along side her husband in the family business, C&K Laundry for a number of years. Nancy was a volunteer at Arnot Ogden Medical Center, a member of Rotary Anns and active in her church. She was also a member of Order of Eastern Star, Harmony Chapter.Nancy was predeceased by her parents, Addah and Robert Freeman, her sister, Ruth Kelly and her brothers, Harold Pete Freeman, Robert Freeman, Richard, Freeman and William Freeman.She loved her family and spending time at the family cottage at Lake Ondawa in Big Pond, PAFamily and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira on Saturday from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. A Memorial Service will be held in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 314 W. Church St. Elmira Saturday at 4:00 PM.Memorials can be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church at the above address.
