Nancy Ann Maurer

Was born July 21, 1944 in Elmira, NY the daughter of the late Charles W. and Helen M. (Collins) Daniels, passed away very unexpectedly on Saturday, June 24, 2006 at the age of 61. She graduated from Notre Dame High School (Elmira) and St. Josephs School of Nursing (Elmira). She was a Registered Nurse at the Upstate Medical Center and the VA Hospital in Syracuse, NY. She moved to Florida for a few years then returned home. Nancy enjoyed cooking, crafts, reading, shopping and helping others. She is survived by her step-mother, Margaret Daniels; sisters, JoAnne (Skip) Andrews of Keuka Park, NY; Pat (Rennie) Hofman of Pine City, NY; Elly (Carl) Rose of Chittenango, NY; Teresa Daniels of Elmira, NY; brothers, Bill (Margaret) Daniels of Elmira, NY; David (Theresa) Daniels of Pine City, NY. Nancy loved her many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She will be greatly missed. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY 14904 on Wednesday, June 28, 2006 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. A Memorial Service will follow the visitation at 2 PM with the Reverend Richard Farrell to celebrate Nancys life and honor her memory. Interment will follow it St. Peter and Pauls Cemetery with Father Farrell conducting the committal prayers.
