Norman W. Barnes

Norman W. Barnes Age 60, of Sayre, PA, Passed away suddenly on February 23, 2013 after a short illness in Easton Hospital Kindred Care Unit in Easton PA. He was born on July 31, 1952 in Elmira, NY the son of Morton Barnes and the late Dorothy (Gaines) Barnes. He is survived by son, Shane Barnes (Cindy); grandson, Ryan Barnes; father Morton Barnes; sisters, Pamela MacCoy, (Joe), and Tonia Wheeler, (Greg); several nieces, nephew, aunts, uncles and cousins.Norman graduated from Williamson High School in 1970, work for Walt Barnes on his farm. He was a truck driver for many years with Flickenger and Al’s Leasing of Elmira, NY. Norman enjoyed motorcycles, playing drums and guitar, was a collector of knives. But most of all he enjoyed being with family and friends.The family will receive friends at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, on Saturday March 2, 2013 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM with Funeral and Committal there Saturday at 3:00PM, Pastor Randy Stilson will officiate.Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Jobs Corners Cemetery, Jobs Corners, Pennsylvania.Guest book may be signed in obituaries at www.olthof.com.Arrangements have been entrusted to Olthof Funeral Home, Inc.
