Norman G. Shaylor, age 88, of Elcor Health Services, 48 Colonial Drive, Horseheads died Friday, March 2, 2007 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Elmira. Mr. Shaylor was born August 27, 1918 at Sylvania, PA the son of the late Carland the late Florence P.(Ripley) Shaylor.She predeceased him 5/17/2006.He served in the Army from 1944 to 1946 during World War II .He was employed by Kelsey & Woughter Sheet Metal.He is survived by one daughter: Sandra & Lawrence Williams; son, Norman C. & Carol Lou Shaylor of Pine City, NY; grandsons, John, Randy And Jeffrey Shaylor; grandsons, Robert And Gerald Williams; Great Grandchildren, Christi, Tyler, Shawn, Adam, Nicole And Megan Shaylor..The funeral will be Saturday, May 12, 2007 at 1:00 at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira with Pastor Chris Curry officiating.Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery with full Military Honors.
