Age 88 of Pine City, NY. Passed away at home surrounded by his family, February 6th, 2004. He was the son of the late Joseph and Angela Carozza Lemoncelli; born the 24th of March, 1915.Nunzie is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years Doris Walsh Lemoncelli. Daughter Ellen Taft of Pine City, NY Grandson Paul (Kelly) Lemoncelli of West Henrietta, NY 2 Great Grandchildren Lucas and Anna Lemoncelli.Brothers John (Devine) Limoncelli and Peter (Betty) Lemoncelli all of Elmira. Several nieces and nephews. Sisters in law: Flora Limoncelli of Elmira, and Emily Rouke of Fl. Faithful canine companions ?Jessie? and ?Nick?. Nunzie was predeceased by his Mother and father Angela and Joseph, 3 sisters Mary, Dora, Lanna. 2 Brothers Frank and Michael.Nunzie was a man who worked hard and loved his family. He was driven by a strong work ethic that was evident in his beautiful home, garden,and tasty tomatoes. Nunzie was an avid sports fan driven from being an accomplished athlete growing up. He was a dedicated assembler and foremen at the American LaFrance Co. for over 43 years, Lifetime communicate of St. Mary?s Church of Franklin Street, Elmira, Lifetime Member of the B.P.O.E. #62 Elmira Elks Club, and Eagles Club. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY 14904 Monday, February 9th, 2004 2:00PM to 4:00PM and 7:00PM to 8:00PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at the St. Mary?s Church,224 Franklin Street, Elmira, NY Tuesday, February 10th, 2004 at 11:00AM. The Reverend Richard Farrell will officiate. Graveside services will take place in St. Peter and Paul?s Cemetery, Elmira immediately follow.
