Patricia Ann Hadden

Patricia Ann "Pat" Hadden of Elmira, NY passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, December 5, 2016. Pat was born in Elmira on July 6, 1938 to the late John A. and Dorothy (Ford) Hadden. She is survived by her brother, John T. Hadden of Davidson, NC; his wife, Martha; nephew, Dr. Scott Hadden of Aumsville, OR; niece, Rebecca Hadden McKeever of Davidson, NC; and two grand nieces and one grand nephew. Pat graduated from Elmira Southside High School and then attended nursing school in Port Jervis, NJ where she became a Registered Nurse. Upon graduating from Nursing School she moved to Alberta, Canada where she worked at the Prairie Bible Institute for two years. Subsequently she returned to Elmira and took a position at Arnot Ogden Medical Center where she worked many years before retiring. In her younger years, Pat enjoyed spending summers at the family cabin at Keuka Lake.Her parents were dedicated antique collectors. She got the bug too and developed a passion for R.S. Prussia porcelain.She loved animals and for several years her constant companion was her miniature poodle, Molly. Pat’s faith, her church and her church friends were always very important to her.Her family would like to give special thanks to Doris and Rick Proper, to her next door neighbors, Jan and Bill Powell, and to Loraine Hill, who supported her in her later years. Funeral services will take place at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave, Elmira/Southport on Sunday, December 11 at 3:00 PM.
