Patrick J. â??P. Jay�? Dwyer

Age 71, of Elmira, NY, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2004, peacefully at his home. He was born July 21, 1933 in Elmira, the son of the late Patrick J. and Elinore (Wright) Dwyer Sr. Jay is survived by his loving family: brother and sister-in-law, William and Mildred Dwyer of Syracuse, NY; sisters, Mary D. Flasphaler and Maureen Dwyer, both of Elmira, NY; beloved nieces and nephews: James Reynolds and fiancée Melanie L. Lowman; and special companion, Clancy, all of Elmira, NY; Matthew Reynolds of CA; Doc and Donna Reynolds of NV; PJ Reynolds and Linda Faulisi, both of NYC; great niece, Payton Reynolds of NV; Daniel Dwyer of Rochester, NY; Amy and Lyle Hunger of MD; Jennifer and Dan McIntosh of CO; William Dwyer of CA. Jay owned and operated Jay Dwyer?s Mobil Station for many years and later retired as a school crossing guard in 2002. According to Jay?s wishes he will be cremated at the South Port Crematorium, Inc., and a private Graveside Service will be held at the convenience of his family in St. Peter & Paul?s Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be directed to a charity of one?s choice in his memory. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY.
