Paul R. Freeman Sr.Lifetime member of Southport Volunteer Fire DepartmentAge 77 of Elmira Heights, NY, son of the late Russell and Marian (Ayers) Freeman, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.He is survived by his wife Barbara Mortimer Freeman, with who he spent 56 years of life and love together, son, Paul R. (Cynthia) Freeman Jr., daughter, Susan Piccione, grandchildren Michele (Joe), Jay, Dan (Junia), Jennifer (Jody), Matthew, great grandchildren Peyton, Dominic, Kirstin, and Alexis. Sisters, Pauline (John) Kerbein, Mary (Don) Smith, Jean (Frank) Kerbein, several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents Paul was predeceased by his sister, Cora May, mother in-law and father in-law, Marian & Omer Mortimer, sister in-law Betty and brother in-law, Chuck Former member of the Elmira Heights American Legion Post #154 and lifetime member of the Southport Volunteer Fire Department. Paul was known as Santa Claus to many, young and old. He worked at Maple Farm Dairy for many years and retired from F. M. Howell after many years of service.
