Was born February 8, 1915 in Monroe Township, PA the daughter of the late Minor and Mae (Carr) Vanderpool passed away on Monday, March 1, 2010 at the Berwick Hospital Center in Berwick, PA. Her beloved husband, Raymond Leslie Fields preceded her in death in 2005. Her son; Kenneth W. Belcher, daughter; Donna A. Smith, brothers Ralph, Sheldon, Donald, and Clifford Vanderpool also predeceased her. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Fiore of Elmira Heights, NY; step-daughters, Shirley (David) Kelly of Endicott, NY; Janice (Tom) Mitteer of Johnson City, NY; step-sons, James (Nancy) Fields of Apalachin, NY; Roy Fields also of Apalachin, NY; Joseph Fields of Endicott, NY; along with several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Pauline was a life member of the Women of the Moose Montour Falls Chapter, a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Elmira Heights, NY and the Eagles Auxiliary in Elmira. She retired from Trayer Products, Inc. after several years of dedicated service as a machine operator. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY on Saturday, March 6, 2010 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM. The Women of the Moose will hold their ceremony at 2 PM for their dearly departed sister. Funeral Services will follow with the Reverend Mari Rockwell celebrating Pauline's life. Interment will take place privately at the convenience of her family in Forest Lawn Memorial Park where she will be laid to rest with her beloved Raymond.
