Pauline M. TaylorAge 94, of Elmira, NY was born August 19, 1920 in Elmira the daughter of the late George J. and Alma E. (Martin) Cline, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2015 at St. Joseph's Hospital. Her loving husband, Manning C. "Chuck" Taylor Jr., grandson, Bradley William Taylor and son-in-law, David Dutton, step-father, Stephen Royal Cook predeceased her. She is survived by her beloved family: son, Stephen (Diane) Taylor of Lowman, NY; daughter, Christine Dutton of Corning, NY; grandsons, Jeremy (Randi) Taylor; granddaughter, Emelia Dutton; step-grandsons, Matthew Towner and Scott Towner; step-great grandchildren; Cora, Robert, Heather, Mathew, Hunter, Mason and Madison Towner sister, Joanne (William) Wilson; niece, Bridgette (Bob) Sweet; along with many friends, neighbors, nieces and nephews. Pauline was a Veteran of the US Navy proudly serving her country during WW II as a WAVE. She was employed at the Pentagon as a clerk, was a receptionist for Dr. Romano in Auburn, NY, was employed at Izard's in the accounting department, was a secretaryat the Southside Baptist Church, was a wonderful housewife, mother and grandmotherand was also a member at the First Baptist Church. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY on Friday, January 16, 2015 from 12:00 to 3:00 PM. Funeral services honoring her life will follow the visitation at 3 PM. The Reverend Arthur "Skip" Reed will celebrate Pauline's service. Interment will take place at the convenience of her family in Woodlawn Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her beloved Manning.
