Phillip Hubbard

HUBBARD, Phillip Age 71 on July 13 while at home after an extended illness, went on to join his loving wife Elizebeth.Surrounded by his grandchildren and their mother (Penny) while his son ?Chet? held his hand.He was predeceased by his wife of 43 years in March 1999, a son Daniel in October 2001 and a brother Doug in 1971 along with his parents Chester and Mabel Hubbard.He leaves behind two sons Chester and Michael (Ana) Hubbard, a sister Shirly (Wade) Hill, a brother Gary (Alice) Hubbard and a sister in law Barbara Hubbard, several nieces and nephews.Phillip was a loving Grandfather to Ana, Daniel (Sheyann) Lisa, Andy (Susan) Hubbard and his seven great grandchildren.Phillip was successful at a number of occupations in his life including a store he started with his wife (Hubbard?s Market) Phillip played a leading role in making all the major decisions throughout the years in the business.He was sincere, honest, and cared what he sold to his customers.Trust meant everything to Phillip.He enjoyed fishing with his friend John Mace and watching NASCAR with his grandson Daniel and in recent years visiting with his friends at the ?Truck Stop? in Alpine Junction.There will be a visitation at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, New York on Wednesday July 19, 2006 from 6:00 p.m. ? 7:00 p.m. followed by a celebration of his life at 7:00 p.m.Those wishing may make donations to the American Lung Association, Finger Lakes Region, Inc. 1595 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester, New York 14620
