Phyllis J. Parker

Was born June 12, 1931 in Elmira, NY the daughter of the late William and Frances (Thomas) Seymour, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 30, 2010 at the Bradford County Manor. Her son, Larry Parker, brother, William Seymour, step-brother, Murray "Bud" Seymour, brother-in-law, William Parker and son-in-law, Dewey Green predeceased her. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert E. Parker, with whom she has enjoyed 52 wonderful years of life and love with; daughter, Linda Green of Memphis, TN; grandson, Brad Parker of Bethlehem, PA; sister-in-laws, Bea Seymour of Odessa, NY; Eloise (Ward) Hill of Lincoln, NE and Lorraine Parker of Lowman, NY,along with numerous nieces and nephews. Phyllis was a dedicated employee ofWestinghouse for 10 years and also was employed by Thatcher Glass and Artistic Greetings. She was a wonderful cook, enjoyed shopping and adored her cats. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY on Thursday, September 2, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Funeral services celebrating her life will follow the visitation. (4 PM) Interment will take place at the convenience of the family in Woodlawn Cemetery.
