Pon Canfield

Age 53, passed away peacefully at her home in High Springs, FL, on Thursday, February 17, 2005 with her loving family at her side. She was born March 2, 1951 in Nongkai, Thailand, the daughter of Pud and Jon (Muthita) Oubpahart. Pon married Terry Canfield May 20, 1975 in Thailand. They have celebrated 29 wonderful years of life and love together. She is survived by her beloved, Terry; loving children, George (Jessica) Canfield of Horseheads, NY; Julie Canfield, also of Horseheads, NY; Mathew Canfield, stationed with the US Army in Germany; much adored grandchildren, Nathaniel and Aaron Canfield; beloved mother, Jon Oubpahart; along with 4 brothers, 4 sisters, several nieces and nephews. Pon was the former owner of the Asian Market in Hanover Square, Horseheads, NY. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, NY on Monday, February 21, 2005 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Interment will take place at a later date in the Woodlawn National Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to the American Cancer Society, 1316 College Ave., Elmira, NY 14901.
