Rachael Lorena Bailey

Of Elmira, NY, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2005 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center, Elmira. She is survived by her son, Robert Taylor of Pittsburgh, PA; granddaughter, Nicole Turcsik of Ithaca, NY; grandson, Jesse Siemon of Ithaca, NY; five great-grandchildren; nephew, Lawrence Huntley of Horseheads, NY; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends & neighbors. Rachael was predeceased by her daughter, Laura; son, Bruce; husband, Charles Bailey; parents, James and Rachael (Morter) Spence; sister, Viola Huntley; and companion, Richard Jennings. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star; was District Deputy Grand Matron for the Chemung-Schuyler-Tioga District, State of New York; a member of the Red Hat Society; the Women of the Moose; the Elks; and the VFW. Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira on Tuesday, August 9, 2005 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM; with Funeral Service there Wednesday at 11:00 AM. The Rev. William Vallet will officiate. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira, NY.
