RAUSCHER, Rachel M. Dugan Crout Age 83 of Elmira, NY. Rachel entered her new life on April 1, 2004. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on May 29, 1920. During her working career she was a secretary for lawyer Judson R. Hoover and also a secretary/bookkeeper for the Salvation Army. She had resided at Grantier and Cogswell Rest Homes and attended day activities at the Horizon House in Elmira, NY. Rachel is survived by her biological children; daughter, Lorraine Crout Walters of Norwich, NY and her son, Roger Crout of Boonville, NY. A quiet prayer and fond memories of Rachel would be appreciated.Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Rachel?s sense of humor, smile and laughter will be greatly missed.
