Raymond E. DurfeeAge 80 of Lowman, NY passed away on Thursday December 13, 2007 at home.Raymond was the son of the late Raymond and Bertha (Hills) Durfee. He is survived by his best friend and companion, Sandra J. Little, sisters, Norma G. Batroney of Pine City, NY, Alberta (E. Richard) McAtee of Horseheads, NY, Marion (Dennis) Northrup of Horseheads, NY and Jacquelyn (Howard) Carl of Elmira, NY, brother Arnold (Jane) Durfee of Elmira, NY, children, Charlene L. (Thomas) Galpin, Eileen A (Gary) McDonald, Gary R. Durfee all of Elmira, NY, brothers in-law and sisters in-law, Warren and Claire Rosekrans, Robert Rosekrans, and Joycelynn and Cliff Orme. also several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. close friend, Ed Adamus. Raymond was predeceased by his wife Charlotte J. Durfee, son Terry E. Durfee, daughters Arlene M. Schultz, Marlene L. Cram, grandson Matthew White, also extended family and hunting companions beloved pets, Beau, Lacee, and Laila.Raymond was a United States Army and Air Force Veteran. He retired from the Town Of Southport Highway Department.Family and Friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. on Tuesday December 18, 2007 form 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM with Funeral Service there Wednesday at 1:00 PM followed by graveside service in Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira, with Military Honors accorded at the grave.
