Raymond G. Fitzpatrick

Age 87, formerly of Schuyler Ave. Elmira, passed away peacefully at Bethany Manor on Saturday, January 10, 2004 where he resided. He was born August 11, 1916 in Elmira, NY the son of the late John and Catherine (Gilligan) Fitzpatrick. Raymond was predeceased by his brothers, Jerome and Joseph; sisters, Mabel, Anna and Alice Ann. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, John and Barbara Fitzpatrick of Castle Rock, CO; niece and caregiver, Mabel Jean (Joseph) Taulman of Ridley Park, PA; nieces, Rita (Emil) Kranzinski of Elmira, NY; Catherine (Ernest) Baldwin of Bentley Creek, PA; Shirley (Dean) Gordon also of Bentley Creek, PA; Margie (Gordon) Gamble of Ridley Park, PA; Marlene (George) Green of Sharon Hill, PA; nephews, Jerome (Alice Ann) Fitzpatrick of Horseheads, NY; Donald (Marlene) Allen of North East, MD. Raymond retired from Kennedy Valve after several years of dedicated service and was a Veteran of the US Army Air Corp proudly serving his country during WW II. He was a faithful communicant of St. Mary?s Church and a die-hard New York Yankee fan. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY on Thursday, January 15, 2004 from 9:00 ? 9:30 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday at 10:00 AM in St. Mary?s Church 224 Franklin Street Elmira, NY. Interment will follow in St. Peter and Paul?s Cemetery.
