Raymond L. Ketter

Age 71 Of Pine City, NY passed away very peacefully on Wednesday March 5, 2008 at home surrounded by his family. He is survived by his children; Raymond L. (Brenda) Ketter Jr., Mary (Tim) Jessup, David (Karen) Ketter and Kate (Robert) Smith, 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, also brother, John Ketter and sister in-law Kathleen Fibber Peckham. His wife, Roxanna M. Ketter, son Joseph Ketter and brother Bernard Ketter predeceased him.Ray was a dedicated member of the Loyal Order of Moose for over 25 years; he was a member of Horseheads Lodge #1476. In 1999 He received the Pilgrim Degree Of Merit at Moose Heart. Throughout his Moose membership he held many offices and was very involved in the organization. He retired from Acme Markets after 38 years of service; he was a well-known fixture at the Southport Acme Market for many years. Ray loved animals, especially cats; his feline friends, Flash and Copycat will miss him.Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. on Sunday March 9, 2008 from 1:00 to 3:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM with a Loyal Order of Moose Service there at 7:45 PM followed by a Funeral and Committal Service there at 8:00 PM. Ray will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife Roxanna in Lake View Cemetery, Watkins Glen, NY at the convenience of the family.
