Raymond F. Wilson

Wilson, Raymond F. Age 89 of Elmira, NY passed away Friday, March 18th, 2016 at the St. Joseph's Hospital. Ray was born in Elmira, NY on May 24th, 1926. The son of the late Charles F. and Hattie (Shyer) Wilson. He is survived by wife of 64 years, Elizabeth "Tish" Wilson of Elmira; children, Katherine Arrant of Virginia Beach, VA, Beth (Michael) Hansen of Lockwood, NY, Susan (John) Zink of Seattle, WA; four grandchildren, Amy Steck, Christopher Hansen, Jeremy Zink, Jordan Zink; three great grandchildren, Natalie, Briana, Emma; along with several nieces and nephews. In service to his country he was a World War II Army veteran. He retired from Thatcher Glass after many years of dedication and was a longtime member of the North Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed the time he was able to spend with his grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to gather at the North Presbyterian Church, 921 College Avenue, Elmira, NY on Thursday, March 24th, 2016 from 2:30PM to 3:30PM. Memorial services celebrating Ray's life will be held at the conclusion of the calling hours at 3:30PM.
