Age 61, passed away peacefully at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center on Monday, November 2, 2009 with her family at her side. Regina was born in Elmira, the daughter of the late John and Mary Ruth (Dunn) Sage. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years Floyd ("Jake") Haner, their two sons, John Michael (Debbie) Haner of Elmira; Timothy James (Pam) Haner of Columbia Crossroads; grandsons, Mikey, Jacob, Joey and Willie Haner; granddaughter, Sam; step grandchildren, Matt and Joe Mashanic and Brooke Thomas; sisters, Amy (Rick) Sage of Denver, CO; Molly (David) Sage of Ormond Beach, FL; brother, Tim (Sue) Sage of Elmira; in-laws, Tina (John) Wood, James (Melanie) Haner and Susie (George) Batterson; special friends, Jocie and Joyce whom she worked with at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center for over 21 years; a very special friend of many years, Kathy Southard; along with many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Regina was predeceased by a sister Julie Sage Weber and brother-in-law, Phillip Weber DVM.Mrs. Haner enjoyed quilting, sewing and was an avid fan of NASCAR driver, Mark Martin. She also enjoyed her pets Ella and Mandy. At Regina's request there will be no prior calling hours.
