JOHNSTON, Richard H., Sr. ?Dick? Age 62, of Gillett, PA born February 18, 1942, passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2004 surrounded by his family at the Robert Packer Hospital. Survived by his wife, Bernice Johnston; children, Vicki (Tim) Warren of South Carolina, Donna (Karl) Wilkens of PennYan, NY, Richard Jr. of New York City, Dale (Mike) Dalton of Maryland and Brett (Georgia) of Gillett, PA; brothers, Earl (Phyllis) of Troy, PA, Wayne (Norma) of Wellsboro, PA, and Ernie (Colleen) of Mansfield, PA and 9 grandchildren. Richard was predeceased by his parents; William and Helen Johnston, brother; Jim, sisters; Marie and Marge, nephew; Dwayne and a grandson; Michael.He was a life time member of the South Creek Volunteer Fire Department, member of South Creek Lions Club and the Canton Loyal Order of Moose. Family and friends will be received on Friday, May 28, 2004 at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, May 29, from 12:00 to 1:00 PM with Funeral Service there Saturday at 1:00 PM, followed by a graveside service in Gillett Cemetery, Gillett, PA.
