Richard Marshall Fead Age 60, passed away very unexpectedly Sunday, April 9, 2017 due to complications from surgery. Rick was born December 19, 1956 in Fairhaven, MA, the son of Charles W. and Beverly J. (Marshall) Fead. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Deborah L. Fead-Kelly (Dennis); brother, William C. Fead; nieces, Rachel A. Black (Matthew) with their daughter, Madelyn; Meghan D. Stephens (Adam) and Jessica Fead; nephew, Kyle Fead; along with aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, long time friends, Paul and Becky Nickels; as well as many dear friends from the American Legion in Big Flats, and from his work, Chemung County Sewer Districts, where he was Treatment Plant Operator. Rick loved fishing, golfing and taking road trips on his Gold Wing motorcycle with good friends. He also loved wood working, making many special pieces for his family and friends. Rick was a wonderful son, big brother and good friend. He always had a funny story to tell. His family and friends will miss him dearly. A celebration of Rick's life well be held for family and friends on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at the American Legion Skinner-Ernest Memorial Post 1612, 45 Olcott Road, Big Flats, NY 14814 from 11:00am to 4:00pm.
