Richard Edwin Pipher

PIPHER, Richard Edwin, (Dick)Age 90, of Sebring, FL; formerly of Elmira, NY, passed away on July 11, 2014 in Sebring. He was born August 12, 1923 in Ithaca, NY, the son of the late Oliver A. and Freda W. (Wood) Pipher. Dick graduated from Odessa High School, the class of 19??. He retired after 31 years of dedicated service with the Bendix Corp, and was also a Master Woodworker. Richard was married to his loving wife of 52 years M. Arlene (Pease) Pipher who preceded him in death November 19, 2005. His brother, Robert E. Pipher also predeceased him. Richard is survived by his beloved son, Richard Oliver Pipher of Sebring, FL; sister, Doris L. Krebs of Horseheads, NY; along with nine nieces, 4 nephews and several cousins. Dick's services will remain private. The family will provide all necessary flowers. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family in Woodlawn Cemetery where Richard will be laid to rest with his beloved Arlene.
