Richard J. White

Age 45, formerly of Elmira, NY passed away on February 20, 2005 in Jacksonville, FL. He is survived by his wife, Belinda; sons, Joshua and Jack; mother, Patricia (William) Mawhir; grandmother, Doris Panetta; brother, Harold E. White Jr.; sisters, Sarah (James) McCann, Kay (James) Allen, and Dawn (Gregory) Orme; sister-in-law, Maureen White; mother-in-law, Audrey Fields; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and close friend Kenny Peterson. Richard was predeceased by stepson; Scottie Barnes; father, Harold E. White, Sr. and father in-law, Jack R. Fields.Richard was a United States Navy Veteran with 20 years of service, employee of Crown Products Co. Inc. of Jacksonville, FL, and a member of Southport Volunteer Fire Department, Southport, NY. He was also an Eagle Scout and a graduate of SHS class of 1978. Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira on Monday, February 28, 2005 from 1:00 to 3:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM with Funeral Service there Tuesday at 1:00 PM, followed by graveside service at St. Peter & Paul?s Cemetery, Elmira with full military honors.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be directed to the Education Fund, C/O Kay & James Allen, 12037 State Route 352, Corning, NY 14830.
