Rita C. Bowlus

RITA C. BOWLUS Former Town of Southport Resident Was born February 19, 1914 in Athens, PA the daughter of the late John T. and Julia (Lawler) Curry passed away peacefully on Saturday June 6, 2009 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center at the age of 95. She is survived by her nephews, James (Ann) Burdick and John (Pat) Sullivan; along with many great nieces, great nephews and also good friend Delia "Dee" Cady. Rita was predeceased by her husband George Bowlus, sisters and brother-in-laws, Mary (Bill) Burdick and Mildred (Maurice) Sullivan; very close friend, William Stricker. She was a dedicated Assembler at the Remington Rand for many years. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Wednesday June 10, 2009 at 11:00 AM in the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport NY.
