Robert Lighthall â??Bob�? Davis

Age 74, passed away very unexpectedly at home on Saturday, February 19, 2005. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Ann Chapman Davis; daughter and son-in-law, Kathryn and Cornelius J. Milliken of Elmira, NY; son, Thomas C. Davis of Tampa, Fl; he was beloved by grandchildren, Kathryn A., Cornelius J. IV, Mary E. and Ann M. Milliken, all of Elmira, NY; grandson, Jordan T. C. Davis of Peach Tree, GA; brother-in-law, Wilson K. Chapman of Auburn, Maine; as well as several nieces, nephews, and many, many good friends. His parents, Robert E. and Susan Davis of AuSable Forks, NY, predeceased him. Robert retired from the Flight Service Station at the Corning/Elmira Regional Airport, where he was the chief of F.S.S. Bob was a Veteran of the US Air Force during the Korean War, serving in Japan. It was Bob?s wishes that there be no calling hours and that services be held privately at the convenience of the family. Anyone who wishes may make memorial donations in Bob?s name to the Elmira Kennel Club, P. O. Box # 834, Elmira, NY 14901. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc.
