Robert L. Berggren

Age 76 of Elmira Heights, NY passed away peacefully on Monday, November 23, 2009 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Mr. Berggren was born in Elmira Heights, NY, the son of the late Andrew and Lola Starner Berggren.Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters; Frances Brown and Bernice Redner and a brother Alonzo Berggren. His survivors include several nieces and nephews and a good friend of many years, Bernard Kotch. Mr. Berggren was an army veteran of the Korean War and retired from Thatcher Glass in Elmira Heights, NY. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. At his request there will be no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave, Elmira, NY.
