Robert R. Ellis

Robert Rockwell Ellis, formerly of Elmira, NY, was born February 13, 1928 in Elmira, NY, the son of the late Clarence and Muriel Ellis, went home to be with his Lord on Monday, December 7, 2015 at the age of 87 in Ft. Myers, FL. He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Joyce DeGraw Ellis. He is survived by his loving family: children, Katrina (Mark) Chisholm of St Petersburg, FL, and their children, Heather (Lorin) Bridge and Hillary (Rich) Hutchins, Robert (Sharon) Ellis of Ft. Myers, FL and their children, Robert, Kristen, Eber and Shawn, David Ellis of Elmira, NY and his children, David (Jennifer) and Danah Ellis; brother-in-law, Norman Westervelt of Nichols, NY; 7 great grandchildren; and nieces, nephew, and their children. Robert proudly served his country in the Navy. Later he retired from American LaFrance before moving to Ft. Myers, Florida and owning and operating Auto Specialties. There will be a family graveside service at Woodlawn Cemetery.
