Robert F. Fitzwater

Age 78 of Elmira, NY Robert was born February 18, 1936 in Elmira, NY, the son of the late Robert and Alda Halsey Fitzwater, he passed away on Tuesday April 22, 2014 at Meadow View Nursing Facility from complications from surgery that he had in January.He is survived by his beloved wife, Janet Farnhum Fitzwater; children; Robin Ward, Lou Ann Harkness, Robert F Fitzwater, Jr., and Edward Fulford Fitzwater; step-children, Rea Horton, David Terwillger, Timothy Terwillger, Eva Gabrial, Gonia McCormick and Randy McCormick; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.Robert was a contractor in the Elmira area for many years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Robert was a member of the Fassett Baptist Church, Gillett, PA.Family and Friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue Elmira, NY on Monday April 28, 2014 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM with Funeral Service there Monday at 1:00 PM the Reverend Scott Melott will officiate.
