Robert “Bob” Samuel Fuller was born November 2, 1926, in Elmira Heights, NY the son of the late Claude A. and Maude (Rumsey) Fuller.Bob passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2016, at Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, GA at the age of 89.His wife, Constance Fuller, son, Rex Fuller and grandson, Nicholas Fuller also preceded him in death. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Robert Fuller and Jean Fuller, daughter-in-law Barbara Fuller; grandson, Matt Fuller and his wife, Amanda Fuller; and great grandchildren, Clark Fuller, Lillian Fuller and Joshua Tumanisvilla; along with several nieces and nephews.Bob was a member of the Masons, the Bahia Shrine, and the Scottish Rite, and served his country faithfully and fearlessly in the Navy in the South Pacific in WWII.He was a beloved and dedicated father and grandfather.He loves the Lord his savior, Jesus, and was loved by everyone that knew him. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY on Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM. Funeral services honoring his life will be held there on Friday, August 12th at 11:00 AM. His grandson, Elder Matt Fuller will officiate. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery where the Chemung County Veteran's Honor Squad will accord Mr. Fuller with Military Honors and where he will be laid to rest with his beloved Connie.
