Robert E. Gooding

Age 91, was born March 17, 1918 in Lockport, NY and passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at his home surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with lung cancer. His work career at Moore Business Forms spanned 35 years in various management positions. He loved to fish, play golf, work in his yard and take care of his beloved Maltese, Brandi. Bob was predeceased by his loving wife of 62 years, Zelma (McDowell). He is survived by his four daughters: Judy Gooding, Dottie (Reidar) Tholfsen, Diana (Jerry) Ryan all of Elmira; Linda Malara of Whitesboro, NY; six grandchildren, Paul (Ann) Beach, Julie (Artie) Nichols, Michael (Kristy) Ryan, John (Deana) Ryan, Tom (Kim) Ryan and Andrew (Tina) Malara; along with six great grandchildren. At the family's request there will be no prior visitation. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of his family. Flowers are gratefully declined.
