Age 85 of Elmira a proud WWII Navy veteran, passed away on Veteran's Day Thursday, November 11, 2010 after a brief illness. Bob was predeceased by his wife Wanda (Collson) Lockner; Parents Fred and Francis Lockner; Sisters Jeanette and Marion Lockner; Brothers Fred, George (Belva), Kenneth (Florence) and Donald Lockner; Father-in-Law Merle Collson; Sister-In-Law Helen Collson; Nephew Jack Lockner and Niece Joan Aumick. He is survived by his loving children Charles (Teresa) and Barbara and dog Morgan all of Elmira; Sisters-In-Law Hilda Lockner of Elmira and Jeanne Lockner of Apache Junction, AZ; Brothers-in-Law Robert (Viola) Collson of Elmira and Francis Collson of Matalatcha, Florida.; Aunt Dorothy Collson; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Bob proudly served on the LST 307 during WWII at the battle or Normandy.He was also a proud member of the Teamster's Retiree's Local 529 after retiring from Yellow Freight after many years of service.
