Robert D. (Bob) MoreyAge 61, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2013 after a lengthy battle with cancer.A fellowship luncheon will be held at South Corning Fire hall on Friday Sept 27th at 1:00 pm.Please join the family in Bob’s honor and bring your stories to share.Bob was born on January 18, 1952 in Coudersport, PA, the son of Owen and Leah (Kio) Morey.Bob is survived by his mother , Leah, of Corning;wife, Lorena, of Elmira; daughter, Valerie, of Roulette, PA; grandson, Eric Mack, of Avondale, AZ; granddaughter , Kira Sutton, of Port Allegany, PA ;sisters, Nancy Warner, of Addison; Beverly (Cesar) Majano, of Nashville, TN; Barbara (Archie) Hackett, of Summerville, SC;Linda (Eric) Hill, of Plymouth, OH; Anita (David) Brown, of Caton; and brother Albert (Buffy) Morey of Corning; along with several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.He is preceded in death by his father, Owen and brother, Kenneth, both of Corning. During his life Bob founded and operated Morey’s Lumber Company in Roulette, PA for several years before moving to Elmira.He was a devoted family man who enjoyed hunting and fishing.
