Robert John Rohr

Was born March 18, 1944 in Elmira, NY the son of the late Charles R. Rohr and Marjorie (Carrus) Sr. passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at the Strong Memorial Hospital Rochester, NY at the age of 69. He is survived by his beloved brothers, Charles R. (Frances) Rohr Jr. and Lance T. Rohr both of Elmira, NY; nieces and nephews, Darlene (Michael Cowles of Rochester, NY; Jeffery (Anita) Rohr of Greenville, SC; Timothy (Cynthia) Rohr of Pine City, NY; Randy Rohr of Ohio; Debra (William) Longfellow of Cazenovia, NY; Lance (Becca) Rohr of Horseheads, NY;along with several great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces and great great nephews. Bob was a Veteran of the US Army proudly serving his country during the Viet Nam War, then retired as Chief Petty Officer from the Naval Reserve Center in Horseheads, NY. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY on Monday, October 14, 2013 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Funeral services honoring his life will follow the visitation at 7 PM. Reverend Clifford Proper will celebrate Bob's service.
