Sosnoski, Robert D. “Bob” age 67 of Elmira, NY passed away unexpectedly Saturday, January 16th, 2016 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Bob was born in Waverly, NY on February 29th, 1948; the son of the late Robert T. and Kathryn (Worbleski) Sosnoski. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 34 years, Dawn (Davis) Sosnoski of Elmira; daughters, Stacey (Jason) Brown of Gorham, ME, and Nicole (Ryan) Denissoff of Rochester, NY; 6 grandchildren, Theron, Tevin, Ethan, Ellie, Evan and Eli; 2 great grandchildren, Thane and Hudson; several nieces and nephews, including niece, Amy Cottingham of Rochester, NY and nephew, Frank (Katie) Cottingham of White Plains, NY, along with his mother and father in law, Betty and Donald Davis of Pine City, NY. In addition to his parents, Bob is predeceased by his sisters, Helen Sosnoski and Mary Cottingham. He retired as a sheet metal worker for Schweizer Aircraft after 30 years of dedicated service, and for a short term worked for Kennedy Valve Co. Besides spending time with his family, Bob loved gardening, fishing and wood-working. He was an avid Steelers and Red Socks fan. He was a dedicated member of the Calvary Chapel Twin Tiers.Family and friends are invited to gather at the Calvary Chapel Twin Tiers, 601 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY on Thursday, January 21st, 2016 from 6:00PM to 7:00PM. Memorial services celebrating Robert D. Sosnoski’s life will follow the calling hour at 7:00PM. Pastor Fred White will officiate. Those wishing, please make memorials in Robert D.
