Rodney G. â??Pappaw�? Lindsay

Age 52, of Valley View Drive Schoharie, NY formerly of Elmira, NY passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2003 at the Albany Medical Center Hospital in Albany, NY. He was born February 12, 1951 in Altoona, PA. His mother, Violet Lingenfelter Lindsay November 4, 1998 and his step-father, Rolla Lee Lindsay Jr. November of 2001, preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Judy Darlene Lindsay of Channel View, TX; son, Rodney G. (Kelley Kilchewski) Lindsay Jr. ?BJ? of Carlisle, PA; daughter, Amy Elizabeth (Raymond Johns, Jr.) Lindsay of Elmira, NY; sister, Sandra L. Watts of Batavia, NY; brother, Daniel Lindsay of Freedom, PA; sister, Pamela (Thomas) Weber of Murfreesboro, TN; sister, Renee (Mark) King of Belpre, OH; grandchildren, Ramona P. Lindsay, Austin B. Nelson, Gabrielle D. Nelson, Noah R. Nelson, Raymond Johns III, Michael J. Johns, Mitchel D. Johns, Melissa J. Johns; along with 3 nieces, 3 nephews, several great nieces and great nephews; extended family, Katherine Ruppel, Angela Ruppel, Crystal Ruppel, Daniel O?Brien, Breanna O?Brien. Rodney was a Veteran of the US Navy and the US Army. He was a former member of the Masonic Lodge in Elmira and former EOP Teacher. Rodney enjoyed woodworking, photography and computers. Above all, he loved his grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY on Friday, June 20, 2003 from 3 to 4 PM.
