Roger L Granger

Long time resident of Elmira, NY, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at the age of 69. He was born August 8, 1944 in Rochester, NY to Charles and Vivian Granger. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Marilyn Granger; brothers, Charles Granger of Elmira, Allan (Joan) Granger of Horseheads, NY; sisters, Bonnie Curtis of Bradenton, FL, Janice Church of Bernards Bay, NY; children, Allan Granger of Elmira, Michael Granger of Van Etten, NY, Theresa (Gregory) Matkosky of Elmira, Mary (Eric) Anset of Hockessin, DE;grandsons, Matthew Matkosky, Cameron Matkosky, Lexas Granger, Jonathan Granger, William Anest and Joseph Anset; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends, Paul and "Boots" Hess of Horseheads, NY. He was predeceased by his father, Charles Granger and his mother, Vivian (Campbell) Granger; step father, Frank Thayer; brothers, William Owens, Richard Granger and David Granger; sisters, Jacqueline Paul and Margaret Mariano. He was a retired Union Roofer who worked many years for Evans Roofing Company. He enjoyed deer hunting and fishing with his Canadian friends. At Roger's request there will be no funeral.
