Roger G. Passage

ELMIRA – Roger G. Passage, 63, of Elmira, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. Born on December 16, 1958, in Elmira, NY, he was the son of the late Ralph W. and Thelma L. (Drake) Passage. He graduated class of 1977 from Thomas A. Edison High School in Elmira Heights.

On June 30, 2022, he retired from Guy C. Lee Lumber yard in Sneads Ferry, NC.

He enjoyed fishing off Seaview Pier in Surf City, NC and enjoyed playing poker with his poker buddies every Friday for the past several years.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother, Roy Passage; his sister, Donna Benjamin; and his niece, Tammy Benjamin.

He is survived by his son, Joshua J. Passage (Kathy Bailey) of Elmira; his step-children, Jeremy (Stephanie) Jordan of Elmira, Tony (Ashley) Van Houten of Painted Post, Jonathan Van Houten of NC, Michael Walker of Elmira, Nichole Van Houten of NC; his brother, Ralph Passage of Bradford, PA; his many grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; as well as his best friends.
