Age 85, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2004 at the Sayre House in Sayre, PA, where he had been residing. He was born October 14, 1918 in Ridgebury Township, PA, the son of the late Charles and Edith (Robbins) Woodard. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Margaret; son and daughter-in-law, R. Dennis and Evelyn Woodard of Penn Yan, NY; daughters and son-in-laws; Darla and Spike Lowery of Poulsbo, WA; Penny and Zane Palmer of Elmira Heights, NY; grandchildren, Jeff Lowery of Floyds Knobs, IN; Brett (Amy) Lowery of Bakersfield, CA; Amy (Todd) Freyman of Littleton, MA; Laurie (Tom) Morrell of Elmira, NY; Zane (Alexis) Palmer of Williamsville, NY; along with 7 great grandchildren, 5 sister-in-laws, several nieces and nephews. Ronald was a former President of the South Creek school board and was a member of the following: the Gillett Odd Fellows, Checkerville Grange, and the Big Pond Lyons. He was also a dedicated member of the Bentley Creek Wesleyan Church. He retired from the A & P Plant after several years of faithful service. Ronald immensely enjoyed woodworking. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, NY on Thursday, February 12, 2004 from 6:00 to 8:30 PM. Funeral services will be held there on Friday at 11:00 AM with the Reverend Eric Ferguson to officiate. Interment will take place privately and at the convenience of the family in the Bentley Creek Cemetery, Bentley Creek PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the Bentley Creek Wesleyan Church, Bentley Creek, PA15564 or to the Salvation Army Citadel, P.O.
