Rose G. Coppola

Age 93 of 396 Merrill Place, Elmira, NY passed away Saturday, August 7th, 2004 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. She was born in Italy, the daughter of the late Rafael and Carmella Tortora Greco. Her son, Francis Coppola and half-brother, John Coppola predeceased her. Surviving Rose is her son and daughter-in-law, Ralph and Melissa Coppola of Elmira; grandchildren, Rose-Marie, Bonnie, Nancy, Rocky and Michael, Ralph, Luann, Marcus and Devin; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins; sisters, Vittoria Garafalo of Hamilton, Ontario, Amelia Morelli of Watkins Glen, NY; brothers, Mario Greco and Aldo Greco of Cosenza, Italy. Rose is also survived by Francis and Ralph?s half-brothers; Saverio Coppola, Albert Coppola. Her warm acceptance of them as natural stepsons was easily fulfilled by being a loving mother to all.Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY, on Tuesday, August 10th, 2004 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM. A mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Peter and Paul?s Church, 161 High Street, Elmira, NY at 9:30AM on Wednesday, August 11, 2004. Graveside committal prayers will be shared following church services in St. Peter and Paul?s Cemetery, Elmira.
