Rose E. Farmer

Was born March 5,1948 in Montour Falls, NY and left her walk to begin her new journey on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 after a three year battle with Pancreatic and Ovarian cancer. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Amy Burris and parents, Gerald and Evelyn (Smith) Gilbert. She is survived by her husband, Robert Farmer of Millerton, PA; daughters, Paula (Carl) Card, Nancy (Scottie) Burris Burns; step son, Dennis Farmer; grandchildren, Noel, Cody, Dalton, Alexa, Conner, Ryan and Riley; great grandson, Noah; best friend, Roger Burris; loving dog, "Budda", a very special cancer buddy and sister of support rockin Robin Dildine, and "Our Girls" at the Falck Cancer Center; sisters, Rena White, Mary (Ray) Updike, Anne VanHorn, Connie Frisbee and Alta Dean; brothers, Michael and Greg Gilbert; along with many nieces, nephews, family and friends. At her request there will prior services. Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Mac's Tavern 1064 South Main Elmira, NY from 2:00 to 5:00 PM.
